At Premier Driving we provide a comprehensive driving assessment to determine a person’s ability to drive safely. It’s a privilege to be a licensed driver, not a right, however, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to LEARN to drive safely. This may also include learning to use adaptive equipment.
Many conditions can affect a person’s ability to drive, including, but not limited to:
Stroke Dementia Peripheral Neuropathy Alzheimer’s
Traumatic Brain Injury Amputation Spinal Cord Injury Multiple Sclerosis
Muscular Dystrophy Cognitive Decline Parkinson’s Disease Impaired range of motion
What to Expect
There are two parts of the evaluation, Clinical Assessment and Behind the Wheel Assessment.
Both portions of the evaluation are completed during a single visit to our office.
A comprehensive assessment of individual driving skills by a licensed Physical Therapist and Certified Driver Rehabilitation Specialist is the best method of determining a person’s driving ability and safety aptitude behind the wheel. At Premier Driving, our staff are qualified and experienced to provide this essential service.
